Live editing

When colleagues open the same document, you all work on one canvas.

Editing requires access to the document and docs:write.

Edit together

1. Have each collaborator open the same document in the same organization.
2. Edit the canvas as usual. Changes are saved automatically and sent to the other open editors.

Use comments for questions about an element.

Live editing changes the shared document as you work. It doesn't wait for another person to approve each edit. Opening a document together also doesn't grant access to someone who couldn't already read it.

Propose a change before applying it

Choose Suggest changes when you want someone to review an edit before it reaches the shared canvas. Drawing edits in suggest mode stay local until you submit them, and submitting a suggestion doesn't apply it.
