Search
Content search finds a detail inside a diagram when you don't remember the document's title. If you know the name, find and open is faster.
Both searches require docs:read.
Search inside your documentation
- From Home or another page with the sidebar, press
Cmd+Kon Mac orCtrl+Kon Windows. - Enter a term in Search docs, objects, decisions, comments.... Try a service name or an endpoint path drawn in a diagram.
- Select a document or decision result to open it. A comment result opens the document containing it. Object results take you to Objects, where you can open the object.
Results are grouped under Docs, Objects, Decisions and Comments, with matching text shown in the snippets. Content search uses the active organization and respects document visibility.
It searches document names and descriptions, plus diagram text such as ERD column names, endpoint paths and sequence message labels. Object names, kinds and metadata are searchable too, as are comment text and decision records.
Find and open by name
Select Search in the sidebar or press Ctrl+O. This shortcut uses Control on Mac too.
Type part of a document name in Search to open..., then select the document. In the canvas, it opens as another document tab. Documents already open there are excluded from the results.
Find and open matches document names only. For text inside a diagram, objects, decisions or comments, use Cmd+K or Ctrl+K from Home or another page with the sidebar.
